Vanguard

hahah will recieve the first car in kk 4wd , toyota vanguard(recond)( this coming saturday), i wanted to buy Toyota Wish at the first place, but after reconsidered my wife opinion on the height and suddenly saw this 7 seater suv with almost the same price range with the WISH then i opted to select this car. my wife will use it for daily transportation to work and i think she will be happy (since she complain a lot when parking her merah between two big car. ). Thanks God for the blessing .

car was quite spacious with 7 seater and i like the dashboard design.
test drive the car and the performance was very good.
the only drawback so far is there is not spare tire and they only provide with the pump and liquid if tire punture.

cannot wait to drive this new car. :)

Life

when i was a kid, i always wanted to go far from my hometown, to enrich myself with the experience, exposure, see different culture, building, people, landscape. It was in the past.

When i enrolled to higher education, opportunity came and i choose to study further from the beloved homeland. as i graduated , i work just a few months in Sabah n then quit it for a bigger opportunity.

I did have the opportunity to go oversea a few times which i m grateful. It is like dream during kiddo time leads me to where I m and I believe that it will not stop and more opportunities will come.

tick tock tick tock, then i realised that im no longer a kid. Apart from the happiness that i got from traveling, and experince that i had did not really satisfy my needs. Somewhere somehow, i still miss the time when home is just a driving range instead of flying range. I guess that is the sign that Im getting older.

Apart from being far away from the love one,

Mayday Mayday KKIA off the track.

Im one of the thousand passenger affected by the KKIA runaway blackout last week. Luckily i m using MAS for the flight to KK. Accomodation provided by MAS for all the affected passengers. Only some minor comment on their arrangement, since not all the passenger able to board on time during the new flight schedule on the next day.

The question is, How such cases happen for the second busiest airport in Malaysia.? I have read in the newspaper saying , the broken old cable cause the incident. It seems that once broken , no secondary line to cover the failure. Well things happen, but the Airport Management should study and improve the supply system not just the runaway but also other operational system available at the Airport.

PTI ???

skrg makin byk orang berkata pasal RCI & PTI. ada yang cakap PTI nda mengugat keselamatan(klu rumah jiran bukan PTI senang lah mo cakap) jadi apa beza PTI kes di sabah dgn kes2 di semenanjung.

1. PTI sabah kebanyakannya datang dari selatan filipina , dan juga indonesia
2. PTI ni datang di sabah sebab keadaan ekonomi tpt durang yang nda berapa bagus.
3. yang paling Penting ni durang teda document perjalanan yang sah masuk sabah.
4. Ada yang guna mykad palsu
5. paling teruk, ada yang kana bagi kewarganegaraan. and worse if they are granted citizenship what status would they belong to, bumi or non bumi? i assume that it will be bumi.

So right now what is the creadibility of the RCI? can it be trusted.? what we can do know is hope for the best and hopefully the 6 member of RCI, the investigator and other who are directly involve with this investigation to work based on what sabahan realy want.

Finding your own strenght

Where is your inner strength?, what are you capable of? im sure this is the common question that lingering in our mind. So how we can identify our own strength . Check this article. a good info

1. Watch for signs of excitement. When you engage in an activity you are truly good at, your excitement is visible. Your pupils dilate, your chest is broader, your speech is fast and fluid, and your arms spread wider. "You can see someone feels alive and motivated when they're using a core strength," Kashdan says.

Ask a close mentor when you appear most animated or observe yourself for a day. When do you feel most engaged? Most energized? "When people are using their strengths, they pop out of the backdrop," Kashdan says.(If observation sounds tricky, you can also take an online survey, like the VIA Character Strengths Test to help you identify and rank your greatest strengths.)

2. Break away from job titles. To uncover your gifts, you need to explore new roles. "Think of your company as a laboratory," Kashdan says. Encourage flexible roles and see how it goes. "If people are excited about trying something else and you have some evidence that they could be good, then experiment with it," he says.

For example, one executive wanted a more creative, innovative workplace but wasn't the man to do it himself. Kashdan helped him identify a maverick on his staff -- someone creative and unconcerned with others' opinions -- then put that person in charge of innovation. By assigning roles based on strengths, rather than job titles, they were able to create a stronger team.

3. Notice what you do differently than everyone else. In a situation where you are truly using your strengths, you will stand out from a crowd. Your approach will be unique. To name your strengths, you want to identify those moments and articulate how you are different.

Kashdan recalls one executive at an early morning meeting who told an animated story about letting his kids run free at a crowded aquarium. "His focus was not on safety but on promotion," Kashdan says, highlighting a support for autonomy that would help him manage independent workers.

4. Describe your strengths creatively. When naming your strengths, avoid what Kashdan calls "wastebasket terms," meaning overused words like 'passionate' or 'dedicated.' Instead, come up with a unique term that captures your specific strength.

"By coming up with an exciting word, you avoid all the typical connotations," Kashdan says. He uses terms like storyteller, autonomy supporter, investigator, energy incubator, and battery. That specificity helps leaders apply their gifts. "Once you can put a word to your strengths, it becomes much more embedded in your everyday life," he says.

Keindahan menghiasi bumi ku,

Menikmati indahnya alam
Langit membiru dan lautan

Seri alam yang menjadi kenangan,
Kita jalinkan kemesraan, di lembah yang menghijau,
Di mata kami terbayang cinta,
Pada setiap bumi ini.

Siblinghood

Once upon a time.
We had a small quarrel,
Big fight, kicking each other,
Punching each other.
Teasing each other,
Said something that is not nice to each other,
We did cried & laugh together,
Shared our good time,
Shared our bad time.
Thru a period of time.
It creates a bond,
A solid bond towards maturity.
Which create a mindset
Where you don't have to think twice
Whenever a help is required.
Thats what we call
Siblinghood

High Salary , High cost, Low salary, Low cost.

Recently Gov had announced the new minimum salary which raised an eyebrow for many. Some say it is not fair, some say it is just. Let us put aside whether it is fair and just. Lets have a look on a current scenario

1. Salary in Sabah, mostly is Low, It might due to the employer capacity to provide a good remuneration to the employee.
2. Prices of good is High(Mostly, dont believe me, check yourself,  )
3. Thousand of Sabahan Have no other choice but to go outside sabah to find a job.
4. It is said that cost of living in Sabah is lower compare to the Peninsular ( okay lets have a look on the provided housing allowance  to the gov servant from sabah to peninsular and from peninsular to sabah, try to compare it, Im sure you find it a bit contradict,)
5. Price for housing is High, (Dont believe me, Check urself)

These are just 5 scenario that came across my mind right now. will add it more later.....

Sabah, Sarawak Seat Allocation.

Well history already said so.
http://www.dailyexpress.com.my/news.cfm?NewsID=81163

interm of geo size, both Sabah and Sarawak representing 61% of the total land in Malaysia.
interms of population size is 20% of the total population in Malaysia.
additionally, interm of locationwise, the beauty of the nature, plus the richness of the land, the figure 34 % is justified.

Cabbotage issue

http://www.theborneopost.com/2012/03/22/minister-urged-to-resolve-cabotage-policy-issue/

I read this news online today. It attract me the most since it related to the high cost living in KK.
okay it is about the cabbotage issue, well to be true enough high price cost in sabah is undeniable.

""“Thirty-two years of protection and privileges given by the federal government to the few shipping companies is really long enough! It is time to look at the development of Malaysia fairly although we are divided by the South China Sea!” he said."

this statement interest me the most.

MAS Cancellation Route from KKIA

Recently, MAS had suspend the Korea and Japan route to KKIA due to "unprofitable" route. but suspending  the route will not help the tourism industry since it will halt the direct tourist from the two main economic player in Asia.

The question is,If MAS think the route is unprofitable, then why the authority did not let other airline company to take the route? It goes with the word "If you cannot do it, then let other take the responsibility" instead of "If they cannot do it, then nobody can do it".

Expert, Professional & Amateur

I have this one story between Expert, professional and amateur. There is a competition which judge by the expert and the contestant are mix of the amateurs and professional. Before the competition start the all the contestant read the terms and condition and know that the expert say is final.

The expert has many year of experience and some more than 20 years of experience.

Then the result is out. the winners are mix of the amateur and professional. but however some of the amateur did not agree with the decision, and they complaint, while the professional show their professionalism by accepting that it is part of the competition where there will be a winner and also the loser.

Moral of the story, If there is a competition,
Whom should you Listen. The Expert Or the Amateur?
Which Attitude should you follow, the Professional or the Amateur?

An Amateur are the amateur, but still can be a professional, All one need a professionalism.
Attitude is the matter.
Amateur should see what is lack of instead judging what the result should be.
The expert have their own story how they make their decision,
the amateur have their own story why they are complaining.
